recommendations to sellers when listing a house as their agent
When you go to list a house for a seller, what are some of the recommendations you often recommend to the seller to get it "ready to sell". I am thinking smaller things that most sellerrs can do or could have done but not take much money. For example:
1. Mow lawn and do some basic front lawn landscaping
2. Powerwash house and porch
3. Clean house...maybe shampoo carpets
4. Remove and store "clutter" in the house
5. Patch and paint wholes..maybe paint whole house neutral color if they have funky colors
6. clean garage
I ask this for a couple of reasons and here is my thinking:
1. As a new listing agent, I want to make sure i recommend things that are proven to help sells houses
2. More importantly, of the things that are most highly recommended, I want to network with those people that might come into contact with the sellers when prepping their house to list, like powerwashing, whole house cleaning, etc
Appreciate the feedback and ideas. Thanks.
