Another discovery of dumbness by a wannabee builder

So I found the attic vent. Was going to blow it out to clear it after insulation was blown into the attic and after a couple of "where is it" puzzled moments, I discovered it had been sided over. This attic has limited venting as it is so I don't know why they thought it would be ok to cover it up. There are no soffit or ridge vents, no turbines, just the two gable vents on this tin roofed house. I didn't do a very good job of hacking a hole through everything to expose it but it's not visible from the ground. (maybe that's why it got covered...) This is just one example of a number of other items I've exposed on this property.
