Should I rent while I start this investment journey?
My husband and I sold our condo (not knowing anything about real estate investing) earlier this year to buy our dream home with the profit we made. Currently we are living with in laws while searching for a house but have realized the market in CO to build or buy is insane. We stumbled across real estate investing and have since dived deep into webinars and books trying to soak up all the information we can about it. My question is do we rent our own home while we begin our investment journey or is there a better solution? I don't want to put money into someone elses rental when I could be investing in ourselves while we start this. Any insight would be much appreciated!
*I have looked into house hacking and we have 2 kids and 3 pets, I don't think that will work*

Nope. I have done 2 house hacks and both have had individually fenced yards between the units. And if you find one with a yard, you can always put up a fence or retaining wall.
