Newbie looking to invest in real estate on F1 OPT/H1b visa

To give a brief intro, I am not a US citizen. I came to US for my further studies. I recently graduated and am working towards getting H1b work visa. I have been following bigger podcasts for almost 2 years and want to start in real estate investing. Is there anyone who is in a similar situation to mine? I am currently working in a small college town in Missouri, but I have no clue how to start because of my visa situation. Any guidance would be highly appreciated.
