How do you balance redeveloping your mindset vs making money now?

2 months ago when I began my journey to financial independence through real estate, I was pursuing educating myself on the inner workings, concepts, and ideas behind how to make money. Part way through up until now, I have sort of, switched gears to focusing on redeveloping my mindset on how I approach talking to people, dealing with money, negotiation tactics, and financial empowerment. I still am teaching myself day in and day out when it comes to podcasts, books, videos, blogs, and literally anything real estate knowledge source. I do this because I am acutely aware of how financially stupid I was with my money in the past, and how throughout my life, I've developed bad habits and negative attitudes towards the very things that matter greatly in terms of success as an investor and entrepreneur. I feel like I'm doing great so far, but I can't help but to think if I'm focusing too much on this and not enough on actually getting my first real start or deal!

The question I'm trying to ask in the title of my post is:

What do you guys & gals do to balance redeveloping your mindset towards what it means to become a wealthy person vs. actually putting the education into action?

Thank you for your read!
