Investing $400k in multi-unit construction what to expect
Before I start:
My background is medicine and I have no idea how to verify these claims. So I turned to this website after listening to the podcasts.
I have an offer from a Realtor who has her own Brokerage (+30 years in business, successful, family friend), to invest 400k which is about 15% for a new construction of a 14 unit complex. She has the loan approved and they are ready to start construction. She estimates to double my investment in 1.5 years. 1 year for construction and few months to sell. It sounds too good to be true to me. I want to know what experience investors think about these projections.
