Wholesale/Flipping Advice in NYC

Hello everyone,

I live in the NYC area and have never done anything in real estate besides read a bunch of articles, books, attend seminars about investing. Earlier today, I happened upon a FSBO in a very "C area" in my borough, called and left a VM regarding the home.

My intention is to sell my contract to a rehabber/home buyer interested in a total fixer upper (the house looked like it needed major cosmetic repair-can only wonder what's inside).

Once they call back, I will pick up and....

then what?!

I'd really appreciate some help from people who have actually done this type of transaction and give me some insight into how they successfully put together, and closed their deal.

Thanks!
