Dose Roof Maxx Work to extend the life of a roof

I am looking at a property with a roof that is 15 years old. I was searching the web for costs to replace a roof and stumbled across some roof restoration service called Roof Maxx. According to the info i found, some formulated soybean oil is sprayed on your roof to extend the life of your roof by 5 years. Has anyone had this done and can confirm the effectiveness of the treatment?
