Hello, everyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my post. I am a student at Louisiana State University, and I am currently in the process of writing a paper. The English class I'm in will be centered around careers and/or lines of work that interest you. I'm going to school for Construction Management, but I'm also very interested in real estate investing. 

I am required to interview an individual or individuals in my field of interest. I have created twelve questions that I feel will adequately describe someone's unique experience. Here are the questions if you'd like to answer them. Thank you for your time and participation.

  • 1.What made you choose real estate investing?
  • 2.How did you decide to start out?
  • 3.What difficulties did you encounter when you began your career in real estate?
  • 4.When did you feel that you “got the hang of it”?
  • 5.Did your intended path in real estate differ at all from your actual path?
  • 6.If so, how did it differ?
  • 7.What surprised you about your specific line of work?
  • 8.How were you able to grow in your specific area of real estate investing?
  • 9.Who were the most difficult people to work with and how did you deal with that?
  • 10.If you could “start again”, would you do anything differently?
  • 11.If so, what would you do?
  • 12.What would you say to someone who wants to start a career in real estate?
