Hey BP!

Where do you get phone numbers for free?? Half for me to practice on, and half because I can run to a partner/mentor type person in my area if I need to. Im spending as little money as possible and just taking as much action as I can. (I like how that sounds). So before I start calling random markets that I have no interest in. And before I actually buy a good list for my own. Where can I pull more info from? Craigslist, backpage, tax assesor? (costs $ right?) Thanks in advance!!

Hey Michael! One great tip I MAY have for you is to get the sherrifi's auction list as far in advance as possible. Depending on your county they may have a great list that you can start digging into. Take the list of people looking at losing their homes and then first, send them letters. Most people don't take well to cold calls. They best like to feel like they are taking control of their lives. Offer them your help with the knowledge you have amassed. Find lenders who may supply free credit counseling, get a team of people together who shares your interest in helping people get out of trouble. Then, if you buying their house doesn't make sense know the next person you can refer them to for help. It may be a RE agent it may be a loan officer. But...if you really want to practice your phone skills you can take that same list, subscribe to been verified, and quite often you can get a phone number or two off there that still is legit. Good luck!
