Advice Needed: Buy Property under LLC or buy under personal and then move to LLC

Rohit Raturi
Posted

Hi

I am starting my real estate journey in 2025 and started connecting with agents and lenders. My lender is suggesting me to buy property under my name and then transfer it to LLC later as there are not many financing options available for LLC. Is this a good approach? I have a 700+ credit and willing to make 25% down payment. I want to avoid the hassle of moving the property to LLC later. Please suggest the right way of purchasing my first rental property.

Thanks

Rohit
