Networking for beginners

So I am new to real estate investing - currently don't have any deals or projects.

im located in Connecticut -

Im a beginner and am looking for experience and knowledge and more information - as a beginner I want as much information as possible with the experience

I know a lot of people who start- they network, meet different investors and different people in the real estate world .

So my question to you is - if you're from CT - are there any meet ups or networking events that happen - that beginners are welcome ?

If not from CT and there's any networking events or groups online - id love to hear which groups you recommend/ webinars .

lastly, any advice on how to properly approach investing professionals as a beginner - would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and your advice - I truly appreciate it .

Go to BUILD YOUR TEAM at the top of your screen, and you can search for other MEMBERS or LOCAL MEETUPS. You can also check meetup.com or search Facebook for real estate investment groups, clubs, or meetings in your area.

You can also contact @Samuel Eddinger He is an investor and property manager in CT.

I thought I posted here already.  Maybe my post was removed for some reason.

@Gabriel A Camacho - I'd be happy to connect.  DM me if interested.

You did respond. One of the moderators hid it for some reason. I don't see anything wrong with it, but maybe they thought you were marketing your business?

If you go to meetups for six months, at least one a month, you will be so far along with relationships. Just make sure when you go to be interested, not interesting. You will learn more when you are new asking other investors what they do, how they do it, and why they do it and it will help you develop a gameplan above and beyond podcasts and books. There are plenty of meetups in CT, just look in Events here and on meetup dot come like @Nathan Gesner recommended.

I'm located in central CT and have been browsing and taking in whatever information I can from different areas to get started on my journey. CTREIA is a group that meets at least monthly and usually has some events throughout the month (maybe at a cost) that they'll send information on. I've gone to a couple meetings and it can be a good place to meet wholesalers, agents, contractors, and other investors.

Good luck!
