About us

As a direct private lender, Navigator Private Capital fills the void left by traditional lenders. We offer loan packages designed around each client's specific needs— no cookie-cutter financing here. Our loans are based on the value of the property itself or its rental potential so we don’t qualify you based on your income. With no W-2s or tax returns required, we can approve your loan quickly with highly competitive rates and terms.

We offer short and long-term investment loans on non-owner-occupied property, including fix and flip, rental/DSCR, new construction, and bridge loans. Unlike the big banks, we can be nimble and creative when it comes to crafting loan vehicles —focusing on the unique needs of each borrower.

We provide our clients with a simple, straightforward application process —accessible online whenever is convenient, day and night. Fast approvals make putting together a winning bid easy. And, once a loan has closed, getting access to funding is a matter of a few keystrokes.

If you are searching for a financial partner who will support you throughout your ENTIRE real estate investment journey, you have come to the right place.

I have been working with navigator on our last 4 transactions and they have delivered on all promises and very easy to work with. The new vupec mobile draw inspection is great time saver, and I'm very happy with terms and services I have received. Best lender I have worked with in past 5 years, by far.

Rehabbing was part of our plan to get past the financial consequences of 2 serious cancer fights. Our 1st deal with NavCap worked out great. We got the work done and the house sold in a little over 4 months. NavCap got paid on time, we made decent money on the deal and our Buyers got a home they love (and still live in). Based upon that success we got the ball rolling on 3 more projects -- with smiles in our hearts and some money in the bank for the 1st time since melanoma knocked on our door. Early into the 2nd house we started to get the idea that our contractor-partner had a black hole where he ought to have a conscience. Our optimism quickly turned to trying to hang onto trees in a hurricane. He walked out on his part of the note payments, left us with a house he'd needlessly gutted to the framing that was worth half what we owed on it in that condition, and that was just the beginning. He didn't run out of money -- he just decided to buy 2 places at the beach for himself instead of doing what he'd signed on to do with us. Not telling you any of that because it's fun to talk about about -- owing hundreds of thousands of dollars on 3 properties that weren't worth 80% of that in the shape they were in then, needing YouTube videos to remind me which end of a hammer to hit the nail with (I do tax planning work and raise financing for business-owners, I'm surely no carpenter), and being more exhausted from the fight than I'd been when I was on chemo was a horror show to say the least. Nope, I'm telling you all that because I believe you learn the most you'll ever know about somebody -- or about a business -- when all that's keeping the muck swirling around your head from sticking to your face is the rain and the wind from the storm. Rick Rall and Tim Boord are two guys you WANT on your side in times like those. Sure, their terms and pricing are very competitive, they get POF letters out the door asap, and they were ALWAYS ready to close when they promised they would be. Their inspection/draw process worked much better for us than what we knew other folks were dealing with from their lenders. I don't want to give you the impression that Rick & Tim were soft, or shy about making sure we were dealing with the messes the way people who take business seriously are supposed to. But they were more than fair to us. They helped us get time we needed, and some temporary concessions here and there, and stuck with us (instead of sticking it to us) because they saw and acknowledged the substantial effort we were making to make things right for them. In the end we got the properties sold as completed rehabs and NavCap got its capital back and its interest. We walked away with nothing from those 3 deals, but after the last Closing we drove the vehicles we owned before we started the first rehab to the home we still owned after the last one. No one wants to deal with storms that hit you out of nowhere, and Rick & Tim weren't always happy with us (heck -- we weren't happy with ourselves most of the time), but they were ALWAYS fair, and ALWAYS part of the solution, not part of the problem. From our perspective you couldn't hope for a better lender.

Working with Navigator Private Capital has been a great experience. They were my first experience in working with “Private Lender.” I found them to be very professional and they were very knowledgeable and provided just the right amount of advisory throughout the investment process that really added value. I will use them on future ventures. Thank you, Navigator, for all that you do! You are a partner any investor should have by their side.
