I think I can safely say that Rebecca Bauer of Realtywise has changed my life. I started out as a wannabe investor with no experience and very little knowledge and just a huge determination to succeed. I live in California and was looking to invest in the Cleveland, Ohio area. As a young(-ish!) woman with no experience or knowledge I felt very intimidated in this field and was looking for more than just a realtor, I was looking for a mentor, a guide, and a teacher. I was looking for another woman to take me under her wing.  Rebecca has become all of those things and more. I truly consider her a friend now. I flew out to meet Rebecca in the new year and she showed me some properties and we calculated numbers, but just as importantly, we got to know each other a bit. I found out that not only was she a broker but she also oversaw all rehabs to properties and that Realtywise worked as a property management company too. When I visited, not only did Rebecca show me available properties, she also showed me demos of her rehab work. While we were visiting a few properties, we also bumped into some tenants from her property management company and it was really clear that they adored her. I also found out that Rebecca was also an investor herself with several properties so she understands what an investor needs. All of these factors made me realize that this long-distance, long-term working relationship could actually work and bring cash flow! I am so glad that I flew out to Cleveland when I did as the Covid-19 crisis hit shortly after and all of our work has now been remote. Rebecca has tirelessly scoured properties, sent me photos and her analysis, and we have to date purchased one duplex and are very close to closing on two other duplexes! These are for very good prices with good cashflow prospects. Rebecca went completely above and beyond in the negotiation processes and I do think one or two of these deals would have fallen through without her skills and expertise. Rebecca has been very patient with me as I went through previously completely unknown steps and has played many roles including therapist during some of the more trying times! She also has an incredible sense of humor which she often interjects at much needed moments. She has also given me very low prices on rehab costs as she is incredibly well connected. Seriously, this woman is so well connected in this town! The highest complement I can give Rebecca is that I would trust her to help my partner and friends with investments, and after watching me work with her, they have also become interested (even though previously real estate investment was not something that they had considered!). I would recommend Rebecca to anyone, but especially if you are a woman investor, I can give you my whole-hearted recommendation.
