We used FidusFi through Dustin Lauer, in order to refinance a golf course operation and could not find (and wasted a lot of time with) other potential lender sources. Ultimately referred to Dustin by an executive at a title insurer whose company had handled closings in the past with FidusFi, and it was a stroke of luck for us because just within a few short weeks we had fully funded what was needed for the project. We paid for an appraisal for a refinance and never received an appraisal report back from the broker Jon Doss at FiDusFi. We made numerous attempts to Jon to have the money refunded and initially received a verbal that he was working to credit us back. That was months ago now and he has not returned our money or a recent email that I sent him asking for the credit. Furthermore, Jon was unable to help us secure a loan after assuring us his team was experienced with our type of loan product needs. I do not recommend FiDusFi as they do not seem to be an ethical company.

Working with Dustin and his team has been fantastic. They are efficient, flexible, available and effective. I look forward to continue the relationship with Dustin and FidusFi on many more deals!!

I am sure there are great stories about Fidus, but I had a poor one with a salesrep from Fidus who used to work for Secured Investment in Orlando. He is terrible at returning calls, or text messages. I asked him for costs on a loan and his response is 20% and then $10,000 in reserves, and $10,000 in closing costs. No explanation beyond that and he takes 2-3 days to respond. If you need something quick, these may not be the right people.

Dustin, Kyle and the Fidus Finance, LLC team work diligently to serve their customers. They communicated well throughout the process and ultimately performed as expected. I plan to use them again and I have referred several other investors to them.
