You all (Benton location)recently took over our complex. The transition was a little scary at first. I have been in the same place for 14 years. I was really thinking about moving. I had a repair that needed to be done. RPM sent someone out to access the problem and got a plan to get it fixed in a few days. Isaac and Dillon are the best! They eased my stress and reassured me things would get done. I am eternally grateful for your dedication for making it happen.

As a Realtor it is so important that we have professional relationships with other Companies that can provide exceptional services and value to our clients. I had the pleasure to work with Cathleen Criss with Real Property Management Hometown from the Central AR location. She provided me with detailed information to share with my client and answered all their questions. I felt that going forward my clients would be in very good hands with her. They offer professional rental property management and services that are locally owned and operated right here in Arkansas!

Unfortunately, from the start of our rental experience with Real Property Management, it was one of disappointment and poor communication.
Our family sold our home in October 2024 and needed a rental property while we built our future home. We found the rental being offered by RPM, applied, and we were accepted. Nearly all of the correspondence was done via text from the link to apply, telling us how much the security deposit would be, and setting up times to sign the lease. The application offered a choice of 1 year, 6 months, or month to month. We selected the 6 month option because this is what fit our needs and it was never brought up in future correspondence. Upon meeting with the manager to sign the lease, do a final walk through of the property, and pay first months rent, he informed us that a 6 month lease was not a possibility, after I mentioned that the dates on the lease were incorrect, and we would have to sign for a year. We were not comfortable with this because we did not want to be stuck in a lease knowing our home was going to be ready in the spring. Mind you, I found out this information 4 days before we closed on our home, due to the manager being sick and missing our original walk through date a week prior, and this would have left us without a place to stay. They were able to accommodate a 6 month lease after I told them we were walking away due to this fact and would find another rental.
Approximately 2 weeks later, we noticed that our washing machine would not pull cold water through the laundry room faucet. We knew our washer was in working order prior to us moving in, so we contacted maintenance and they blew us off and told us it was our machine not the faucet, without making a visit to ensure this was the issue. They told us we would have to pay someone to come fix our machine, even though we assured them the machine was not the issue. Upon moving out, our washer is working perfectly fine and we were forced to use hot water only in washing our clothes at the rental home for the 7 months we occupied it.
In May 2025, we attempted to turn the air conditioner on in the home and it was not able to keep up with the heat outside and the bedrooms were staying in the mid 80s throughout the day/night. We immediately contacted RPM and they sent out a heating and cooling company who confirmed that the unit needed to be replaced. After a week of not hearing from RPM and having to buy a window unit due to dangerous temperatures in our toddlers bedroom, we finally heard that the owner had approved a new unit and it was going to be installed the following week. We asked if we could be reimbursed for the $400 window unit we purchased to keep the house livable, and they stated that they didn't think that was appropriate to ask the owner to cover this cost, even though we had been living in a home with no working A/C for 2 weeks. They eventually asked and the owner denied this reimbursement with no other offer for compensation whether it be a discount on rent, etc.
Most recently, after our move out we received our move out paperwork stating that we were being charged for the blinds in the living room that were broken. These blinds were broken prior to our move in, I have a photo I took during our walk through that is time stamped and a photo of the listing with the RPM water mark showing that this was broken in October 2024 prior to us occupying the home. We have reached out to RPM 5 times to try to resolve this matter, including a visit to their Benton office, where no one was present and we have not received a phone call back in the 4 weeks we have been calling. During our walk through, the manager mentioned that photos of damage could be uploaded into their app so that the damages wouldn't be charged to us upon moving out, but there is no option in the app to do so.
We are very disappointed with the professionalism and communication of Real Property Management and encourage both renters and homeowners alike to look elsewhere for their rental needs.

Let me start off by saying Nicole in the office is spectacular. She was beyond accommodating and helpful throughout the process. We had a situation where we had to move quickly and she was very quick in responding, giving detailed instructions to make sure nothing slipped through the cracks. Isaac is as also very responsive, took time to FaceTime when needed and answered all questions in a timing manner. Great team! I am looking forward to doing further business with this management company.

Nicole was the best when I applied for an apartment. She went beyond the best to help me get my apartment. She is currently still helping me with the task of getting my down payment and all I need to get moved in. Can’t say enough good about her.
