In my own words...

I came from Japan Oct. 2000 and became a real estate investor April 2007. I am associating with Nouveau Riche and mainly I am focusing on Short Sales. I am now doing over 40 short sales.

Real Estate Experience

I am doing 40 Short Sales now. It took 7 months to start closing.

Real Estate Goals

To close 3-4 short sale deals a month from Dec. 2008. To increase the number of short sale deals but I should be more selective to good pre-foreclosures. Next one year I will continue to focus on Short Sale and I want to move to multi-family.

I've never tried short sales. I hear people are making a lot of money. Do you work with certain banks, or more with the property owners. What is the time frame to negotiate down the note?

Steve, what kind of values are you getting from the short sales in Chicago? I'm from South Bend about 2 hours away. When you want some income properties, this might be a better place to look. You can pick up places for about 20K per unit, and the income is very good. I use a mgmt company. They are pretty good. Tell me about the Chicago market? leave your response on my page. - Thanks Dan
