Philip Rowe
Residential Real Estate Agent

In my own words...
I’ve been a Real Estate Agent for 2 years. Graduating from JMU out of VA with a degree in Sport Management in 2003, I moved to South Florida (Dade County) thinking it would jump start my career (there are very little sports franchises in VA). After getting job offers that would barely cover my rent, I decided I needed a Masters Degree to pursue that career. To raise money, I decided to become an Agent during the “boom”. The “boom” busted but I love this job, SO HERE I AM EVER SINCE. I took on roles as a property manager, and more recently a Project Manager for a small time developer. Learning the business was my passion and I began focusing on the foreclosure process in the middle of ’07. My duties as a Project Manager required most of my time but recently the Developer has decided to delay all of the projects, opening up my schedule. In January ’08 I decided to mainly focus on REO’s, Foreclosures, and Developer Closeouts in the parameters of my immediate location. I spent 2 months researching and learning (Thanks BiggerPockets) and am now finding the BEST DEALS in Hollywood, FL, (usually before anyone else). I have been mainly Bird Dogging, so when I find a deal it goes to another agent in my office or my brokers investors and I am just collecting Finders Fee’s, or sometimes splitting commissions to work with their buyers. If I could find some Real Investors on my own I would be much happier and make more money, but at least I am generating some income. I look forward to learning more about Real Estate but already I feel like I am more knowledgeable than any other agent in this area. Also have closed numerous deals in Aventura and Hallandale and South Beach. I own a property in Miramar. Pembroke Pines borders Hollywood as well as Dania so by association I am familiar with those markets as well.
