Agent looking for advice

Tammy Clifton
Posted

Hi there! New member and agent looking to invest and become "investor-friendly" seeking advice. I have a listing that I think would be perfect for a STR, but I'm not sure what price would make sense for an investor. I am well aware that the current list price would probably not be attractive to an investor, but I'm very curious to see what price would make sense. I'm hoping someone out there is bored or feeling altruistic and is willing to provide some insight. Please let me know if this post is inappropriate for this forum. Here's a link: https://www.har.com/s/4GkUDDuA4vs. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Tammy

I ran it quickly through AirDNA.co and its saying $51k annual revenue - on a $1.3M house this is not good at all. Typically I look for a 12% yield at minimum - so on $1.3M I'd be looking around $200k annual income. There are very few listings in the area so I think its either not a popular STR market or there are regulatory issues. Sorry!
