Anyone have advice for putting information in back of the business cards? I was thinking of putting the kind of houses I buy; like ugly houses, pretty houses, pre-foreclosure, probate. Anything else I should put or change? |

Sounds good. What about putting how quickly you can close (if you can indeed close quickly), and your target markets or areas of investment as well. |

You asked if there was anything else. It will really depend on who you are trying to attract or what you want people to do. You can be very general and try to cover a lot of ground. Or you can focus on a specific target customer and make the message very direct or personal to them. There should be a call to action. A direct request where you ask the person to act (to call, visit a website, etc). You could have more than one card if you wanted to segment your target market and then use specific cards for specific purposes. At some level do not ask the card to do more than it can do. You likely only want them to call. Consider looking at some books on direct response marketing for ideas that are from outside the RE marketplace. John Corey |

So you're saying that if I wanted to, I could have different business cards for each type of target I want to reach. Targets such as having sellers call you, finding investors and partners, and recruiting bird dogs. |

I would use the back of your business card as a marketing mechanism. Talk about all the ways that you differentiate yourself from the competition: timing, guarantees, etc. At least, that is what I do and it seems to be working fine. |

I think it is best to keep the information as short as possible, but still convey the message you want. When I pick up a card that has a full paragraph, bullet points, etc on the back, I never read it. I don't have the time nor do most other people. Keep it simple. |

Your business card should be able to convey a sense of confidence and trust, besides the contact number and website url. As Murray said still it should be short and sweet. |

On the back of your card offer some " bait" for the person to call you. Offer a free special report with a very provocative title. |

Hello, I like the idea of putting your " call to action" on the back. The last cards I had printed had on the back " $500 referral fee - call for details or go to www.xxx.com" Don't know if they work or not yet. |
