Commercial lease in TX 1 post by 1 user

My lease will run out next year and I have no more extensions. If the landlord does not give me a lease extension, do I have any other options?

Some background. I have a convienence store at this location. Original owner/landlord sold to another guy before his death. I have a lease agreement that last through June of 09. That is being honored.

New owner/landlord only purchased this property so he could run me off and put his own convienence store in this spot. He owns several other c-stores in the city.

Now I have been told, that is where it always gets sticky right, that there are laws against that kind of practice. Now where do I look for that info and is there anything that can be done before my lease is up?

Trying to find out who I need to talk to and about what issue.
