Me and my wife cant decide on going with diagonal  vs straight wood floor. We have a 2600 sf home and we are thinking on going with wood thru out house except bathrooms. I personally have never seen  a diagonal wood floor in person so im just trying to get  some opinions  from someone that has thanks..

I have seen a few and they can look nice, but they are a lot more work than a normal straight floor and your wastage will have to be a lot more than 10%.  You might think about doing a different color border instead.
