Greetings All,

My name is Shawn, and I am a Noobie (Hi..anyway). I am so new to this forum; I only had the opportunity to read one post. I am a 30yo male that is tired of just getting by. I currently work a pretty good job, but I am just getting by. Thankful for that, but tired all the same.

I have been studying real estate investments for the past 7 years. Everything from Mobile Homes to Notes. I have finally decided on the route I want to go, and the niche I want to target. I am interested in getting my feet wet, by Bird dogging a deal or two. After that I am going to pursue wholesaling.

I plan on developing a strong business. My knowledge of corporate structure is basic, but I have decided on my corporate structure, and how I should develop that aspect. Most of all, I am committed to doing. I no longer want to stand on the sideline. I am in the game.

My hope is to develop strong professional relationships with likeminded individuals. Hopefully I can learn something by continuing to read the posts and other educational material. It would be an honor to go full circle, and in time. Educate and assist another who is in a similar position as I am at the moment.

I look forward to interacting and networking with whomever is open to making money. And doing it on their own terms.

Hello again from NC,

Shawn

There should be an area where you can find out about deals that are going happening to which you are looking for! I believe you you said that you when interested in birdoging a deal or two, if so there is a forum made up for that which you need. Thank you for your time and have a wonderful biggerpockets day!!

Hi Shawn, welcome to BP! If you haven’t already done so, you should check out the sections on Bird Dogging and Wholesaling. You will find plenty of good information. Try to absorb as much as you can and good luck.

Thanks to everyone that replied. I will take my time to review several topics and forums on the site. A wealth of information here. Trying to balance learning and actually doing at the same time. Don't want to spend too much time reading, and not enough time actively doing.

Thank Again.
