I don't have CWs asset manager info, but we work with 3 asset management companies to list our REOs. Where are you looking for REOs and I can get you connected with the Asset manager's accordingly.

I noticed that you are in Detroit. I have tons of property in Wayne county.

Thanks,

thing with publicly accessible online REO listings is that he tasties chunks are gone within couple days so what you see on " listings" is the properties that were sitting on a market for months ( and obviously there is a reason for it)
just hire an agent - like we did - and have him/her email you mls in your area UPDATED DAILY ( they have their internal listing database) we made a final bid on our current house 12 HOURS after it has been listed as REO
just my 2 cts

The Countrywide REO info line is 805-520-5207.

If you are an agent that wants to get to be an official Countrywide REO agent, choose option 2 and they give you directions on how to do it.

This is an info line only so need to choose the different options based on what you are looking for.

If just want their properties the info line sends you to the Countrywide website.

If you can access their wholesale lender site, you can fish through various branches of their departments for contact information.

Countrywide Asset Manager? I don't think you will find to many people giving up the information including myself however I hear the discounts are not as great as one may think perhaps in the near furture...

Ask me.

You can start at the banks selling REO

http://www.biggerpockets.com/bank-reo.html

After not getting the level of cooperation you want (desire) start to write a script and eliminate the things (words) that don't or didn't work the first go around. Discipline, dedication, and diligence will ultimately get you what you are looking for as " NOBODY" with the contacts you seek will divulge them. These are income producing contacts and I can't see someone offering a split to their potential deals...

Everything you seek is attainable through the links,

Chris

I have done several short sales and no REO's I recently had a couple of back right me referal letters about my performace. I have submitted full packages of information and nothing. I submitted my mail to 150 asset managers and nothing. I called to follow up with all of them and could never get to an actual person. My brother is the VP for Wells Fargo in the appraisal department and I could not even get the inside scoop from him. He said that a inter-office memo about giving out info. That really is discouraging. I have tried every back door and calling like I already had the listing with just giving the document number and that almost worked but then I got a voice mail and no call back. Help me anyone. I am in San Diego CA.

Hi Christopher,

I am in North County San Diego. I work all of San Diego but mostly coastal. At this point I will sell anywhere in San Diego. I have got the run around from so many asset management companies that I am getting discouraged. In San Diego there are about 5 companies doing almost all the REO work. They have well over 100 listings each. It is really difficult to get the these guys. I have tried everything. We are super professional and have so many great people on our team but I can't even get a call back from the 150 asset managers I have put out our information to. Believe me it looked first class. Professional photos, professional printing, bank recommendations. Massive years of real estate experience. You name it. So what do you think the problem is out here is San Diego?

How to reach an asset manager..

Hire a private investigator to find out who they are, what office they work out of and the name of their executive secretary.

Have the investigator find out what organization(s) or clubs the manager belongs to, show up at one of their meetings as a true believer who has fortuitiously " bumped into them" .

Try sending a big bouquet of flowers to the executive secretary along with a singing telegram person who will deliver your message and hand him or her some ballons and a bottle of good wine with your compliments and business card.

Find out the best restaurant in town where they work and leave a message that you want to take the manager to lunch at that restaurant.

Ask the secretary who the manager's favorite sports team or performing artist is and send a couple of box seat or front row tickets with your complements with a request for a fifteen minute meeting

If none of these things elicit a response, the person is subhuman.

Countrywide is by far my favorite company to sell REO's for. Not only do they price them 10% to high but their asset managers revolve every 4 weeks or so. I have yet to have the same asset manager on a file at the begining as when I started. I would suggest a different bank. Try the five star conference this summer.

Since you seem to know a good deal about this, I assume you have made these contacts. Is it easier to deal through someone like you who has already gained these sources while trying to develop them on one's own, or is that not cost effective?
